Division Overview
We provide an extensive range of commercial expertise and solutions along the entire LNG marine supply chain, to an increasing number of existing and new customers active in this rapidly expanding and specialised sector.

 

Role Summary
We are looking to hire an LNG Broker in a brand-new role, to expand our presence in the Far East. The successful candidate should have solid experience in LNG Shipbroking, and be a team player who is focused with strong attention to detail. With critical thinking skills, you will recognize the value of precision and nuance as much as productivity.

 

What you will be doing
• Fixing LNG tankers vessels in the LNGC/FSRU/Small Scale market segments.
• Liaising with the Group’s global offices, where necessary, to optimize business across the Group.
• Expanding and developing contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers in the Far East and in the LNG segment.
• Building a relationship with current clients and source for new clients to identify opportunities in the market.
• Preparing charter parties and other necessary fixture documentation, where required.
• Preparing daily market reports/position lists.
• To fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

 

What we are looking for
• Solid and demonstrable shipping related experience in the LNGC/FSRU/Small scale market segments.
• In-depth understanding of the shipping industry (LNG).
• Familiarity with Chartering LNG tankers Market/Terms & Conditions (Time Charter Party)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to analyze and present market data.
• Excellent negotiations skills.
• Motivated and self-driven, able to work well as part of the team.
• Good planning & organizing skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Fluency in English (additional language(s) a plus).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
