Role Summary:

Working within the IT Technical Support Team, the role will require a high level of technical expertise through the desktop, Office 365 and collaboration environments globally. Working with the End User Community Globally, the role will support, develop and mature the desktop services offering to our global teams.

This role may require out work to be completed outside of the standard office hours and may also require travel through UK and Global Clarksons offices.



Building secure, scalable, technical desktop and collaboration services for colleagues consume, based on their experiences and needs. This will be across on premise desktop consumption, Office 365, SaaS and Pass solutions as well as virtualised remote services.



Role and Responsibility

  • Assist in driving global adoption of a core, flexible, persistent desktop aligned to business department and secure standards
  • Management and adoption of the office 365 suite, mobile Clarkson delivered service consumption and collaboration solutions.
  • Desktop and Mobile platform delivery
  • Vulnerability management across the desktop estate
  • Prioritise and effectively manage support tickets and requests.


Experience & Knowledge:

  • Deep experience of Office 365 suite, Productivity and collaboration applications such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange
  • Strong Support experience working in a technical support role, with the ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to own a problem and resolve it
  • Deep knowledge of 365 roadmap, system integration and implementation
  • Deep skills on deployment and management solutions such as Autopilot, Intune, SCCM
  • BA and analytical skills to ensure that technology rollouts and development are aligned to End user needs and values.
  • Hands on knowledge of vulnerability management techniques and solutions
  • High level of knowledge of Active Directory administration including user, object and group management
  • Deep diagnostic approach to understand unique and non-reoccurring problems associated with Office 365 and windows
  • Expert knowledge of Exchange on Prem and online
  • Windows virtual desktop or other virtual persistent technology
  • Strong knowledge of desktop security, building solutions with security in mind.

Special Job Requirements:

  • Whilst the role is based in London Office, travel to other Clarksons PLC offices may be required.
