Role Summary

We are looking to take on a Warehouse Apprentice as part of our growing team. We are looking to train and mentor new talent, with a view to ongoing employment after successful completion of the Warehousing, Storage and Distribution Apprenticeship qualification, based on performance.

o   Total hours per week: 40.00


What we are looking for

We are looking for ambitious, hardworking and sociable individuals to join the Gibb Tools & Supplies team.

The duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:

·        Packing products to be sent out in perfect condition and in a presentable manner

·        Taking deliveries

·        Maintaining stock records and documentation

·        Ensuring warehousing goals are met

·        Ad hoc duties as required


Requirements and prospects


Desired skills

·        Good levels of written and verbal English

·        Ability to work alone and in a team

·        IT literate with a good understanding of PC software such as Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook 

·        Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced office environment

·        Ability to speak to people at different levels of management

·        A reliable individual with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

·        Friendly, proactive and approachable

·        Driven, with a strong work ethic

·        Enthusiastic


Desired qualifications

·        5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-5 (or equivalent) including maths and English
