The role

We are actively looking for an enthusiastic and confident Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team.  As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. 

 

Role responsibilities

  • Research, identify and prospect for new customers to generate new sales opportunities
  • Manage and respond to incoming leads through the qualification process and set up meetings
  • Conduct research to identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Initiate contact with prospective customer through email, calls, target communication
  • Work with prospective customers through the qualification process and set up meetings with customers and sales executives
  • Develop new sales strategies based on personal successes and failures

 

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organisation

 

Requirements and qualifications

  • Proficiency with SalesForce or other CRM software
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes
