The role

 

As Sea/ grows, we are looking for a Head of Marketing to join and lead the London based Marketing team, reporting into the Chief Strategy Officer.  As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and brand building to influence, understand, and improve all steps of the customer journey.

This is a hands-on role; we're a small team and we all pull together to make great things happen. That said, you're a strategic thinker having done this before and can keep your eye on the strategy and end goal, while making sure campaigns and projects are delivered on time and to budget.

 

 

Role responsibilities

  • Structuring and delivering a multi-faceted marketing strategy for the company
  • Delivering the company brand and strategy to internal and external audiences
  • Selection of appropriate 3rd party providers
  • Selection of appropriate software for customer communication
  • Overseeing and project managing creative content
  • Growing user following and analysing user behavior, adjusting email and advertising campaigns accordingly
  • Engaging with marketing teams of clients 
  • Deploying successful marketing campaigns and owning their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Continual market reviews, consumer trends, and the activities of competitors
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds appropriately and responsibly.

 

Skills and experience

  • Ability to learn complex product(s)
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Deep knowledge of social media development strategies and online content marketing
  • An exceptional level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to write clear, creative and engaging copy
  • Skills to analyse and monitor trends in the market
  • Significant experience in a similar B2B marketing role either agency side or in-house, ideally within Technology/SaaS space
  • Proven experience in the SaaS industry, identifying target audiences and creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • People management experience would be beneficial
