The role

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our team! You will work with cross-functional teams, including UX, engineering, and marketing, to conduct accurate data analysis, forecasting, and market research. 

At Sea/ we have the vision to grow our Sustainability and Carbon propositions to help the shipping industry through its decarbonisation journey. Sea/ carbon is an important (and complex) project created to serve as a foundational offering for our customers in Carbon space. It requires dedicated attention to support existing users. Moreover, we would like to grow Carbon further hence there is a need for extensive discovery work that will allow us to better understand how Sea/ could help our current and future customers become more sustainable.

 

Role responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the requirements and product roadmap, working with the team to help design and develop this to be used both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities and issues, formulating hypotheses, rapidly ideating, testing, delivering, and iterating solutions to create a best-in-class product that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Help develop and deliver an improved process for how features and new products are prioritised and added to the roadmap.
  • Work collaboratively with teams and developers to align plans, unpick problems, unblock development, advise on how to implement a new feature, and communicate changes.
  • Guide implementation of product analytics tools and create actionable plans on outcomes.
  • Build a deep understanding of users to create the roadmap for both front-end website and data services.
  • Perform deep market analysis to inform the product roadmap, determine market size, assess competition, and clearly define market positioning.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including a variety of internal teams to ensure the platform is designed and built to relevant requirements.
  • Be a product leader, sharing your work with leadership.
  • Continuous monitoring of the product and platform, tracking and reviewing metrics to ensure delivery is being met.

 

Skills and experience

 

  • A self-starter who enjoys and has experience in owning, shaping, transforming, and delivering a world-class product.
  • Comfortable with complex problem-solving.
  • Strong business sense – we are building a true end-to-end solution, collaborating with other teams and the ability to identify and leverage features across the platform is key, as well as articulating the business value of such changes.
  • Approachable, an excellent communicator – presenting to stakeholders both internally & externally is second nature to you.
  • Passionate about building the best possible user experience.
