Role Summary

As a Digital Data Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Cataloguing function through the accurate configuration, management, and transformation of digital product data across multiple business platforms. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Initially, the role will focus on supporting a significant data transformation programme involving both existing internal systems and our newly implemented eCommerce platform. As the transformation project progresses, the successful candidate will take ownership of the ongoing maintenance, quality assurance, and optimisation of product and supplier data, helping to ensure Gibb Group maintains industry-leading standards in data management and digital operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, consolidate, and maintain supplier data from a variety of sources, including supplier portals, websites, and structured data files, ensuring information is accurately stored and readily accessible.
  • Populate and validate data templates to facilitate the efficient import of product information into eCommerce and business management systems.
  • Convert and format product content, including the creation and maintenance of HTML-based product descriptions.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems to support project delivery, data governance, and audit requirements.
  • Utilise Microsoft Excel functions and formulas to analyse, reconcile, and validate supplier and internal data sets.
  • Review, verify, and quality-check AI-generated data outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business standards.
  • Support ongoing data cleansing, enrichment, and maintenance activities across multiple platforms.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Cataloguing team and undertake additional duties as required to support departmental and business objectives.

Other requirements
