Role Summary

We have a great opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR team in Singapore. You will work closely with the Divisional HR Director and will be actively involved in HR operations, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, recruitment, HR policy development and implementation, HRIS, HR reporting and Payroll.

What you will be doing

Business Partnering

  • Work with Divisional Director in partnering/liaising with Global Heads and Managing Directors from various divisions to address business needs and support required from HR
  • Assist HR Divisional Director with maintaining quarterly meeting cadence with regional HR team and driving regional HR deliverables

 

Recruitment

  • Oversee various talent initiatives inc. Global Trainee Programme and other industry talent programmes.
  • Drive early career talent strategy including managing campus recruitment activities, engagement with relevant student bodies.
  • Be a strong point of contact with industry and government partners for talent programmes.
  • Prepare employment contracts for new hires.
  • Help to conduct background checks and reference checks on new hires.
  • Assist the Divisional HR Director with the onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Submit job requisitions, offer approvals, and job changes for approval within HR system (SuccessFactors) for new hires / leavers / employee contractual changes / contingent workers.
  • Help to conduct first day induction with new hires.
  • Screen resumes and help to conduct the first round of interviews for various open positions.
  • Help to shortlist candidates and arrange interviews for the line managers.
  • Update the open positions report.
  • Manage right to work requirements inc. all work visa related transactions (eg. EP applications and renewals).

 

Compensation and Benefits

  • Assist the Divisional Director with the annual salary review, bonus and promotions processes.
  • Prepare salary adjustment and promotion letters.
  • Work with the Divisional Director on the renewal of our insurance benefits plans.

 

HR Operations

  • Handle various employee relations cases In the Singapore office.
  • Working with the HR Operations Lead to continuously look at ways to improve our HR processes.

Other requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • 3–5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist within a global organisation
  • Experience across HR operations, payroll, recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and HR policy development
  • Strong working knowledge of Asia Pacific employment law
  • Previous experience using SuccessFactors is highly advantageous
  • Experience working in a lean HR team preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong team player able to collaborate effectively with the Singapore HR team, colleagues across Asia Pacific, as well as our global HR team in London and other international offices
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels
  • Comfortable working with a multicultural and diverse workforce
  • Confident, assertive and friendly personality
