Division Overview
The Green Transition team was formally established in 2020 and plays a crucial role in informing positive change and leading the industry towards greener and more sustainable shipping. Our mission is to be the way-finder for the industry on its journey through to net-zero emissions by providing advice, strategic guidance, and execution services, to help reach the sustainable objectives.


Role Summary
We are keen to hear from candidates with an excellent academic record and an interest in the energy transition and decarbonisation of the shipping industry. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, be highly motivated, structured and possess a good work ethic. Strong communication skills are a must, as the person in this role must be fluent in English both written and oral. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant work experience from the shipping or energy space or other related industries such as investment banking, research, consulting or similar and will ideally have a degree in finance, economics, industrial economics (Indøk) or engineering. What you will be doing
• Working in the forefront of the maritime green transition.
• Developing a comprehensive understanding of energy economics and lifecycle emissions.
• Providing factual based sustainable solutions to complex challenges within the maritime space.
• Maintaining key databases and presentation slide packs.
• Supporting senior team members in preparing presentations that are delivered to key clients.
• Providing general assistance with a variety of ad-hoc analytical requests.

What we are looking for
• Highly numerate with strong analytical and good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take complex data and themes and translate this into easily understood analysis for the relevant audience(s).
• Strong interest in the energy transition and decarbonization of our industry.
• Self-motivated, organised, able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
• Market analysis experience, preferably within the shipping or energy industry will be advantageous.
