Role Summary
The person in this role will provide support with fixture entries and create invoices/credit notes in our in-house system called GAIN for our Dry Cargo department, as required in accordance with Company procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, high attention to detail, be highly organised, able to communicate well with others and be a strong team player. You should also have strong numeracy skills and be willing to learn. Training will be provided on our processes and in-house systems.
What you’ll be doing
- Check shipbroker recaps (contract) to ensure accurate fixture creation in GAIN.
- Check owners/charterers invoices for accuracy prior to creating invoices in GAIN.
- Assist with invoice reporting and queries / raising credit notes.
- To consistently be aware of and meet deadline.
- Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
