Role Summary

Are you in your second year at CBS studying the Shipping and Trade Bsc? Then you might very well be the right candidate for us.

Clarksons is eager to expand it’s presence in Copenhagen and is looking to hire an intern for our broking desks as listed below, with the intention for future full-time hire. The position is full-time for one-year.

Dry Cargo & Containers chartering

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the market space.
  • Performance market analysis and provide market insight and trade ideas to clients.
  • Daily price discovery, dissemination and matching.
  • Assist with creating and writing daily market reports.
  • Provide market insights to clients.
  • Travel and attend client social events where required.
  • Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Other requirements

  • Experience of Sale & Purchase, Tankers or Containers would be an advantage (but is not mandatory).
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written. Fluency in English.
  • Strong commercial judgement with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong numeracy skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • Confident and able to work well under pressure.
