What you’ll be doing

  • To purchase group stock and customer requirements in an efficient and commercially aware manner.
  • To develop supply chain and vendor relationships.
  • To purchase goods from vendors and MFG’s offering best for business solution.
  • To be responsible for stock level efficiency.
  • To manage stock take.
  • To ensure that transfers of stock are completed in accordance with company procedures.
  • To ensure that goods are returned to suppliers and returns records maintained in accordance with company procedures.
  • Additional ad / hoc duties as required in order to meet the needs of the role.

Other requirements

  • Proven business experience of equivalent level
  • Target driven
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in using ERP systems such as OGL, SAP, MERLIN, ODERWISE
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, negotiation terms and rebate structures
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Incoterms an advantage
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
