Explore the World of Offshore Energy as a Project Operator at Clarksons Port Services

Embark on a journey with Clarksons Port Services, a dynamic company in the thriving world of Offshore Energy Services, with locations spanning the North Sea from the Netherlands to the United Kingdom. At the heart of this maritime activity, in Den Helder, Eemshaven, and Ijmuiden, we are seeking an enthusiastic Project Operator for all three our locations.

Clarksons Ports Services is an international logistics service provider operating in the offshore energy industry. We provide ship agency services, warehousing, logistics, project services, and helicopter operations for Offshore Energy-related clients. From our strategically located offices in Den Helder, Ijmuiden, and Eemshaven, we have built a strong organized network to expertly support our clients from any offshore-related port in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, together with our Clarksons colleagues. We offer our services at any desired location within Europe.

As a Project Operator, you will be part of the Clarksons Projects team, consisting of two other operators and a Project Lead. With your technical knowledge and background, you ensure that our clients are provided with the best solutions during their offshore projects. In practice, this involves assisting with all technical issues related to a port call, including calculating lifting requirements, providing temporary housing, procurement, project rental, and many other solutions. In essence, you are the extension of our Agency and Logistics department.

Our clients are in various ports and industrial areas. Therefore, you will have a flexible workplace with one of our locations (Den Helder, Eemshaven or Ijmuiden) as your home base. However, you will regularly travel within the Netherlands.

Do you have:

• A technical education at a minimum of MBO3 level (VAPRO certification is a plus).

• Work experience in a technical role, preferably in the offshore energy or maritime industry.

• Excellent communication skills (in English and Dutch).

• A talent for organizing.

• A service-oriented mindset.

• A driver's license B and a forklift certificate are a must, with a VCA certificate being a plus.

Clarksons Ports Services is een internationale logistieke dienstverlener, werkzaam in de offshore energie-industrie. We leveren scheepsagentuurdiensten, warehousing, logistics, project services en helikopteroperations voor Offshore Energy gerelateerde klanten. Vanuit onze strategisch gelegen vestigingen in Den Helder, IJmuiden en Eemshaven hebben wij een sterk georganiseerd netwerk opgebouwd, om onze klanten vakkundig te ondersteunen vanuit elke offshore gerelateerde haven in Nederland en Groot-Brittannië, dit tezamen met onze Clarksons collega’s. Als Project Operator maak deel uit van het team Clarksons Projects, wat bestaat uit nog 2 operators en een Project Lead. Met jouw technische kennis en achtergrond zorg je dat onze opdrachtgevers worden voorzien van de beste oplossingen gedurende hun offshore projecten.

In de praktijk vertaalt dit zich tot het ondersteunen bij alle technische vraagstukken rond een portcall waaronder bijvoorbeeld het doorrekenen van lifting benodigdheden, verzorgen van tijdelijke housing, procurement, project rental en vele andere oplossingen. Kortom je bent het verlengstuk van onze afdeling Agency en Logistiek.

Onze klanten bevinden in alle havens en/of industrieterreinen. Je zult dus een flexibele werkplek hebben met als vaste uitvalsbasis onze locatie  in Den Helder, Eemshaven of IJmuiden (afhankelijk van jouw woonplaats). Wel zal je regelmatig reizen binnen Nederland.

Beschik jij over:

• Een afgeronde technische opleiding op MBO3 niveau (VAPRO certificering is een pré)
• Werkervaring in een technische functie bij voorkeur in de offshore energy of maritieme industrie
• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden (in het Engels en Nederlands)
• Een talent voor organiseren
• Een dienstverlenende en servicesgerichte instelling
• Rijbewijs B en een heftruckcertificaat zijn een must, een VCA certificaat een pré
