What will you do?

As a Financial Assistant, you are the connecting link between our operations, clients and financial administration. You ensure that financial information is processed accurately and on time, while always keeping an eye for detail.

Your responsibilities will include preparing, checking and processing invoices, as well as maintaining contact with clients and keeping their information up to date. You will also support the preparation of financial reports in our systems and analyse these reports to identify any unusual or noteworthy items.

You will work closely with internal teams and agencies across the Netherlands and process and check data in our internal system. You will quickly become familiar with new systems and processes and will have the opportunity to further develop your skills within our finance team.

No two days are the same in our business. Working in the dynamic offshore and logistics sector means you will have a varied role in an environment where there is always something new to learn.

Do you have what it takes?

• You are highly proficient in Excel.
• You are able to prepare, read and analyse financial reports.
• You are well organised, able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
• You have basic knowledge of accounting, such as debit/credit and VAT. A formal financial qualification is an advantage, but not essential.
• You enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, while also being able to work independently.
• You are quick to learn new systems and processes and enjoy doing so.
• You are accurate, solution-oriented and have a strong eye for detail.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Financieel Medewerker ben je de verbindende schakel tussen de operatie, klanten en de financiële administratie. Je zorgt ervoor dat financiële gegevens correct en tijdig worden verwerkt en houdt daarbij altijd oog voor detail.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit het opstellen, controleren en verwerken van facturen en het onderhouden van contact met klanten. Daarnaast ondersteun je bij het opstellen van financiële rapportages in onze systemen en analyseer je deze rapportages om opvallende zaken tijdig te signaleren.

Je werkt nauw samen met interne teams en agentschappen in Nederland en verwerkt en controleert gegevens in ons interne systeem. Je leert snel nieuwe processen en systemen kennen en krijgt de ruimte om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen het financiële team.

In ons bedrijf en onze dienstverlening is geen dag hetzelfde. De dynamische offshore- en logistieke sector zorgt voor een afwisselende werkomgeving waarin je volop kunt leren en groeien.

Beschik jij over:

• Je bent zeer vaardig in Excel.
• Je kunt financiële rapportages maken, lezen en analyseren.
• Je plant je werk goed, stelt prioriteiten en bewaakt deadlines.
• Je beheerst zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal goed, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
• Je hebt basiskennis van boekhouden, zoals debet/credit en btw.
• Een formeel financieel diploma is een pré, maar geen must.
• Je werkt graag in een hecht team, maar kunt ook zelfstandig goed uit de voeten.
• Je leert snel nieuwe systemen en processen kennen en vindt dat juist leuk.
• Je bent nauwkeurig, oplossingsgericht en hebt oog voor detail.
