Step aboard Clarksons Port Services, a dynamic company in the bustling world of Offshore Energy Services, with locations embracing the North Sea from the Netherlands to the United Kingdom. We provide ship agency services, warehousing, logistics, project services, and helicopter operations for Offshore Energy-related clients. From our strategically located offices in Den Helder, IJmuiden, and Eemshaven, we have built a well-organized network to expertly support our clients from every offshore-related port in the Netherlands. At our Den Helder location, our Finance team is seeking a new colleague.

As a (junior) Financial Specialist, you will collaborate with the team to ensure the accuracy of financial administration, which includes managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, ledger management, and processing cash and bank transactions. Your responsibilities will encompass working on VAT returns, payroll filings, processing purchase and sales invoices, as well as setting up and executing payments. Additionally, you will assist the financial team in analysing financial data, preparing periodic reports, and conducting financial audits. Finally, you will contribute to enhancing the automated processing of financial data wherever possible.

Do you have:

• A completed MBO 4 degree in a financial field.

• Strong IT skills, advanced in Excel.

• Work experience in a similar role is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English and Dutch.

• An accurate and solution-oriented work attitude.

• Knowledge/experience with Twinfield and Basecone is advantageous.

Stap aan boord bij Clarksons Port Services, een dynamisch bedrijf in de bruisende wereld van Offshore Energy Services, met vestigingen die de Noordzee omarmen van Nederland tot het Verenigd Koninkrijk. We leveren scheepsagentuurdiensten, warehousing, logistics, project services en helikopteroperations voor Offshore Energy gerelateerde klanten. Vanuit onze strategisch gelegen vestigingen in Den Helder, IJmuiden en Eemshaven hebben wij een sterk georganiseerd netwerk opgebouwd, om onze klanten vakkundig te ondersteunen vanuit elke offshore gerelateerde haven in Nederland. Op onze locatie in Den Helder is ons Finance team op zoek naar een nieuwe collega.

Als (junior) Financial Specialist draag je samen met het team zorg voor een correcte financiële administratie, waaronder; debiteuren, crediteuren, grootboek beheer en het boeken van kas en bank. Je werkt aan btw-aangiftes, loon-aangiftes, het boeken van in- en verkoopfacturen, en het klaarzetten en uitvoeren van betalingen. Ook ondersteun je het financiële team bij het analyseren van financiële gegevens, het opstellen van periodieke rapportages en het uitvoeren van financiële controles. Tenslotte draag je bij aan het waar mogelijk verbeteren van de automatische verwerking van financiële gegevens.

Beschik jij over:

• Een afgeronde MBO 4 opleiding in financiële richting.

• Een accurate en oplossingsgerichte werkhouding
