As Commercial Director, you’ll take the reins of a bold expansion agenda focusing on the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, and Poland. This isn’t about maintaining the status quo; it’s about unlocking new business, building powerful partnerships, and shaping a regional strategy with real commercial punch.

You’ll be the face of Clarksons Port Services in Northern Europe, backed by a globally respected brand and a sharp, experienced team. If you’re a dealmaker, a team builder, and a strategic thinker who loves getting results, this is your role.

What you’ll take on

         Lead market expansion across the Baltic and North Sea; from Eemshaven to Gdansk.

         Create and execute a smart, scalable commercial strategy that opens doors and drives revenue.

         Build and strengthen the regional sales team (CPSBV) to meet bold growth targets.

         Win short- and long-term contracts with top-tier clients and build relationships that stick.

         Represent the brand where it matters: trade events, client boardrooms, and partner negotiations.

         Work across the Clarksons group (Gibb Group, Clarksons Offshore, and more) in a true One Team spirit.

         Innovate how we sell; from tools to tactics to how we show up in the market.

         Travel often and lead from the front. Face-to-face still wins business.

 What you’ll bring

         You have commercial experience and network in shipping, maritime, offshore wind or logistics with successful results.

         You think big, act fast, and love closing strategic deals.

         You lead with clarity and energy and people follow you.

         You’re confident in the boardroom and sharp on the numbers.

         You know how to scale teams and enter new markets.

         You speak fluent English; Dutch or German? Even better.

         You’ve got a Dutch driving licence (we’ll handle the car).
