Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Panamax Broker to join our team in Athens. You should have a successful broking background within Dry Cargo with minimum 2 years’ experience. We’re looking for a driven and focused individual who is a strong relationship builder.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop client base.
• Market, negotiate and fix tonnage and cargoes to clients.
• Understand the business strategy for the division and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.
• Identify and introduce new clients to the market and maintain professional relationships.
• Perform market analysis and provide market insight and trade ideas to clients.
• Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

• Successful track record of Broking within Dry Cargo and the Panamax segments.
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Personable and engaging, able to build strong relationships.
• Confident and able to work well under pressure.
• Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills.
