Role Summary
Due to continued growth and expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Dry Cargo Broker to join our team in Athens. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years shipbroking experience, preferably within the dry bulk market, combined with strong interpersonal skills, and a commercial and results-driven mindset. Fluency in Greek as well as English is also a must.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the day‑to‑day activities of Brokers on the desk.
- Maintain internal databases and manage the flow of key market information.
- Prepare market updates and sales‑activity summaries for internal and external use.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, supporting the production of internal and client reports.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including emails, documents, and general correspondence.
- Help field queries and support effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, client visits, and industry events where required.
- Continue developing knowledge of the Tankers market and the wider shipping industry.
- Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Other requirements
- 2-4 years shipbroking experience, preferably within the dry bulk market
- Effective communication skills (both verbal & written), including fluency in Greek and English
- Personable and engaging, able to build relationships
- Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines
- Confident and able to work well under pressure, with ability to adapt
- Team player with a flexible approach
- Good numeracy skills and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Good MS office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
