Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesperson to join us in our Aberdeen office. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in sales and ideally come from a tooling and supplies or energy background, with knowledge of industrial supplies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for client account management duties and being the key point of contact for clients.
  • Help maintain client satisfaction and respond and resolve customer queries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Promote our products to customers and identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Gather feedback from clients or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Place purchase orders, updating stock system and ensure administration is kept up to date.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions and conferences.
  • Additional / ad hoc duties as required in order to meet the needs of the business.

Other requirements

  • Proven sales track record in relevant industry
  • Experience within tooling & supplies, energy or renewables sectors preferable
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships
  • Client service oriented
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • Self-starter who is able to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Highly organised and efficient working manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and able to use initiative
  • Team player, who is also able to work well independently
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work
